According to Ayurveda, sweet tastes (such as apples) are considered nourishing and grounding. They help balance the Vata and Pitta doshas, and can be especially beneficial in the morning as they help to stimulate digestion and provide energy for the day ahead. The ghee and spices (cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves) used in this recipe also have warming and digestive properties, making this a particularly well-rounded and nourishing breakfast option. Additionally, almonds and sultanas provide healthy fats, fiber and essential vitamins and minerals like magnesium, Iron etc. making it a well-balanced breakfast.
